Whenever I transfer data from my PC to my memory card, it says "The disk is write protected". How can I fix this?

Answer
Most likely you need to format your memory card, which will basically erase everything on there and revert it back to the way it was when you bought it.
A lot of memory cards though have a lock switch somewhere that allows you to lock the card, so that you can make it write protected. Check to make sure if that switch is activated or not, and if not you should then proceed to format it using the instructions below. If it is, deactivate it and it should work now.
How to Format a Memory Card on a PC
Open File Explorer, select your card reader device. Or, in XP or Windows 2000, select My Computer icon, right-click the icon and select the Card Reader Device. Now right-click the mouse button and select “Format” from the pop-up menu. The formatting will commence.
If formatting your memory card doesn't work, then that means the memory card is dead and you might as well buy a new one because it is not feasible to repair it.
